Adobe XD is vector-based graphics software for designing graphical user interfaces for web and mobile apps . Adobe XD is developed by Adobe Inc. and is available for macOS and Windows. A mobile app is available for iOS and Android to view the results. Adobe XD supports wireframing of websites and the creation of simple, immersive, interactive click-through prototypes.

History and Development

At the Adobe MAX conference in October 2015, Adobe announced for the first time that they were developing a new tool for the design and prototyping of user interfaces under the name "Project Comet". It replaced Adobe Photoshop as the industry leading design platform for UI and UX design.

Functions

Adobe XD creates graphical user interfaces for mobile and web applications. Many functions in XD were previously either difficult or impossible to access in other Adobe applications such as Illustrator or Photoshop.
