Adolf Findeisen (born May 12, 1859 in Grießbach ; † October 9, 1942 in Plauen ) was a German politician (DVP).

Live and act

After attending the village school and a Selekta at the grammar school, Findeisen completed a commercial training in a grocery store . He then worked in the newspaper industry for seventeen years. In 1897 Findeisen set up shop in Plauen . From 1903 to 1911 Findeisen served as a city councilor, then from 1912 to the beginning of 1920 as an unpaid city council member in Plauen. In addition, he was chairman of the Association of Trade Protection and Discount Savings Associations in Germany.

After the First World War , Findeisen joined the German People's Party (DVP). From June 1920 to September 1930, with a brief interruption from May to December 1924 during the second electoral period of the Weimar Republic, it belonged to the German Reichstag for three legislative periods as a representative of constituency 33 or (after renumbering the constituencies) 30 (Chemnitz- Zwickau). In parliament he was, among other things, a member of the budget committee.
