Adolf Leib
Adolf Leib (born January 12, 1900 in Berlin , † after 1934 ) was a German crook and chairman of the Ringverein Geselligkeits-Club Immertreu 1919 e. V. The also muscle-Adolf -called body served film director Fritz Lang as a "consultant" and source for his film M of 1931, the vigilante , the crooks clubs on a child killer on the subject. Leib's favorite bar was the Mulackritze .
On the evening of December 29, 1928, Muscle-Adolf and his people started a mass brawl in the Friedrichshain pub in Naubur , which resulted in deaths and serious injuries. In the "Immertreu trial" he was sentenced to a suspended sentence of only 10 months because the witnesses refused to testify in court.
After the ring clubs were banned, Leib was arrested by the Gestapo in early 1934 as a professional criminal; his further fate is unknown. He probably died in a National Socialist concentration camp .
