Adolf Lingener

Adolf Lingener (* 1933 in Genthin ) is a former German university professor.

Life

He studied mathematics at the Otto von Guericke Technical University in Magdeburg . He received his doctorate here in 1968. In 1970 he received his habilitation . He worked at the Technical University, which later became the Technical University, in particular with research in the area of ​​problems of strength and vibrations in power stations. Lingener is a member of the Association of German Engineers .

Lingener was also active in local politics. From 1994 to 2009 he was a member of the local council of his place of residence, Pechau, which belongs to the city of Magdeburg , and was local mayor there.

He was active as a rower . He is an honorary member of the university sports club "Otto von Guericke" Magdeburg e. V.

Awards

In 2010, in recognition of his many years of activity as local councilor and local mayor of Pechau, he was appointed honorary councilor of the state capital Magdeburg and was allowed to enter himself in the city's golden book .
