Adolf Schneider (administrative lawyer)

Adolf Wilhelm Otto Schneider (born April 20, 1806 in Steinhorst ; † August 28, 1886 in Münder ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Adolf Schneider was the son of the bailiff Schneider in the Burgdorf district . From 1824 he studied law at the University of Göttingen , where he initially became a member of the Corps Hannovera Göttingen . In the course of the intrigue of his corps brother Christian Eisendecher , he later joined the Corps Lunaburgia Göttingen and was later made an honorary member by it. After completing his studies in 1827, he entered the administrative service of the Kingdom of Hanover and in 1829 became an auditor in the Dannenberg office . In 1833 Schneider was transferred to Lüneburg as an assessor and in 1850 to Gifhorn , where he was appointed bailiff of the Gifhorn office in 1865 .
