Adolf Schuhmacher

Adolf Schuhmacher (* 1896 ; † 1978 ) was a German architect and university professor .

Life

Adolf Schuhmacher completed a degree in architecture at the TH Stuttgart until 1923 . He then worked for Paul Schmitthenner . In 1925 he passed the government master builder examination and from 1925 to 1930 he was assistant to Heinz Wetzel at the Technical University of Stuttgart.

In 1931 he was elected head of the Basel city ​​planning office. From 1938 to 1943 he was head of the Hamburg city ​​planning office .

From 1943 to 1945 he was a shoemaker professor at the Technical University of Linz .
