Adolf Theuer

Adolf Theuer (* 20th September 1920 in Henneberg Bolatitz , today Opava District ; † 23. April 1947 in Opava ) was a German war criminal and a member of the SS .

Theuer was a bricklayer by trade. From 1940 to 1945 he was a member of the SS team in Auschwitz concentration camp , where he was involved in the gassing of prisoners as an SS medical officer and disinfector . He then worked briefly in the Buchenwald subcamp in Ohrdruf . With the SS he was promoted to SS-Unterscharführer in 1941 .

He was sentenced to death and hanged on April 23, 1947 after a trial by a Czechoslovak court .
