Adolf Thiele (politician, 1877)

Adolf Thiele (born September 21, 1877 in Karwesee , † December 22, 1929 in Neu Salzbrunn ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

After attending primary school, Thiele completed an apprenticeship as a plasterer from 1891 to 1895 and then practiced this profession until 1907. Then he took up a job as an employee in the cooperative system. From 1907 to 1915 he was a full-time cashier and from 1915 to 1919 managing director of the goods purchasing association in Guben . From 1919 to 1926 he was managing director of the consumer association for the Lower Silesian industrial area Weißstein near Neu Salzbrunn, from 1926 to 1929 director of the association of Silesian consumer associations. He was also a member of the General Council from 1920 to 1927 and a member of the Association Committee of the Central Association of German Consumers from 1927 to 1929 .

Thiele joined the SPD and worked as an employee of party and specialist newspapers. From 1912 to 1919 he was a city councilor and from 1914 to 1918 unpaid city councilor in Guben. From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the Prussian Constituent Assembly for the constituency of Frankfurt  7 (Guben, Sorau , Forst ). In February 1921 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged without interruption until his death in 1929. In parliament he represented constituency 7 (Breslau).
