Adolfas Brėskis
Adolfas Brėskis (born February 26, 1938 in Genėtiniai , Raguva District , now Panevėžys Rajong municipality ) is a Lithuanian engineer and mechanic, professor at Klaipėdos universitetas .
Life
After graduating from secondary school in Raguva in 1955, he completed his diploma studies in 1960 at the Kauno politechnikos institutas (KPI) in Kaunas and received his doctorate in 1969. From 1960 to 1961 he worked at KPI as an assistant, from 1966 to 1976 head of the chair for mechanical disciplines at the Klaipėda Faculty at KPI, since 1971 lecturer, from 1975 to 1978 faculty vice dean and from 1978 to 1991 dean, from 1991 to 1997 dean of Faculty of Marine Engineering at Klaipėdos universitetas 1993 rector, from 1991 to 2007 vice rector of the university.
