Adrian II of Bubenberg
Adrian II von Bubenberg (* around 1458 , † February 1501 in Morges ) came from the Bernese patrician family von Bubenberg and was the last of his line.
He was the son of Adrian I. von Bubenberg . In 1473 he became a member of the Bern Grand Council, in 1479 a member of the Bern Small Council. In 1480 he was knighted at the Holy Sepulcher . He took part in various embassies, including a. to Worms , Italy and the Netherlands . In May 1499 he was the leader of the Bernese troops in the Swabian War . The enormous expenditures for the service of the city of Bern forced him to sell parts of his property. In February 1501 Adrian II von Bubenberg died as the last of his line in Morges.
