Adrian Kenny

Adrian Kenny (* 1945 in Dublin ) is an Irish author.

Life

He was born the son of a merchant who came from the western part of Ireland. After attending Gonzaga College in Dublin, he studied history at University College Dublin and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. This was followed by a one-year stay at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville ( USA ). Kenny then worked as a teacher of French and English at a Protestant school in County Westmeath .

A trip took him to Iran . This was followed by activities in Dublin in various professions, such as the editor of a small magazine and worked as a reviewer and journalist.

Kenny has written novels and published short stories in Irish newspapers. He also wrote a study on Douglas Hyde .
