reception

Adventure Master was reviewed in 1984 by the American PC magazine PC World (the German edition is PC-Welt ). It should be noted that three adventures are already included in the scope of delivery, one of which is playable that was developed with Aventure Master. Adventure Master also has built-in graphics that can be used to create illustrations. Teaching and Computers certifies that the program makes creating adventure games much easier. Newsweek was very enthusiastic about the program in 1985: "With Adventure Master from CBS Software, your family can dream of having fun, it's a game that you can use to create and play your own exotic adventure games." Graham Nelson wrote in his book The Inform Designer's Manual states that Adventue Master has been less profitable in terms of commercial adventure game development than Graeme Yeandle's The Quill or Sean Ellis' Graphic Adventure Creator .
