Aeródromo de Villaframil is an airfield in the municipality of Ribadeo on the coast of the Bay of Biscay in Galicia .
The airfield is located around four kilometers northwest of the city of Ribadeo and is approved for civil aviation under VFR conditions.
In addition to a hangar and a gas station, the production hall of the aircraft manufacturer Construcciones Aeronáuticas de Galicia has been located on the airport site since 2010 . The operator is the Club Aéreo de Ribadeo . The owner is the Fundación Rafael Del Pino .
history
The private airfield was built in the 1960s by the Spanish building contractor Rafael del Pino near the marina, who in addition to his sailing yacht also had a house in which he lived as a teenager. The original runway length was 600 meters, it was later extended and paved. Rafael del Pino leased the airport to Aéreo-Club for a small fee of one peseta a year. With the condition that the airfield may be used non-profit and free of charge. No landing fees are charged for using the airfield.
