history

The private airfield was built in the 1960s by the Spanish building contractor Rafael del Pino near the marina, who in addition to his sailing yacht also had a house in which he lived as a teenager. The original runway length was 600 meters, it was later extended and paved. Rafael del Pino leased the airport to Aéreo-Club for a small fee of one peseta a year. With the condition that the airfield may be used non-profit and free of charge. No landing fees are charged for using the airfield.
