Ribadeo is a port city on the Bay of Biscay in Galicia . Ribadeo is located on the western bank of the Rio Eo , which separates Galicia from Asturias .

geography

The municipality of Ribadeo has the shape of a 10 by 10 km square. In the north it borders the Cantabrian Sea. in the east to the estuary of the Ribadeo, on the other side of which lies Castropol in Asturias . In the west it borders on the municipality of Barreiros and in the south on that of Trabada . The highest point in the municipality is the Mondigo (571 m).
