The Aero 50 was a Czechoslovak automobile that was built by Aero from 1936 to 1940 .

The model was the second Aero with front-wheel drive after the Aero 30 . The four-cylinder two-stroke engine, whose construction was based on the two-cylinder model 30, had a displacement of 1997 cc and developed 37 kW. With its three-speed transmission, the car reached a top speed of around 120 km / h. The fuel consumption was 12-16 l / 100 km.

In 1938 the cable brakes were replaced by a hydraulic single-circuit brake system. Like the Aero 30 , the Aero 50 from 1939 had a modernized factory body based on Sodomka , which can be recognized primarily by the rounded radiator grille.

A total of 1200 vehicles of the Aero 50 were built. 751 of these were delivered from the factory as sedans.

The Aero 50 Dynamics with its modern, teardrop-shaped body, produced in just 5 units, attracted particular attention.
