The Aeronaut Glacier is a low-grade glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . Its area of origin is northeast of the Gair Mesa , from where it flows over a length of 40 km to the upper section of the Aviator Glacier , which it reaches near the Navigator Nunatak .
The northern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963) named it in connection with the Aviator Glacier in memory of the achievements of the United States Navy's VX-6 squadron in the service of various research trips.
