Band history

The four-person group from Thun in the canton of Bern was formed in 2000 and is supplemented by two other musicians during live performances. The band, which is under contract with Sony BMG Music Entertainment , plays mostly rock music and has so far released three albums under the Columbia label, each of which made it into the Swiss charts. Aextra is best known for their live performances. In addition to countless own concerts in Switzerland, this also includes various appearances at open air events such as the Open Air Hoch-Ybrig , the Open Air Gampel or the Brienzersee Rock Festival .
