Affairs of the heart is a 2016 Nigerian love story by Robert Peters with Stella Damasus and Joseph Benjamin in the lead roles. It was shot in the USA. The nationwide cinema release in Nigeria was on March 11, 2016. The film was released in France in July 2017 under the title Une Affaire de coeur .

The successful doctor Vivienne returns in love from a business trip to Nigeria. She enables her lover Eric, a male nurse, to enter the USA, marries him and gives him a job. While love is portrayed happily for long stretches of the film, there are repeated scenes that show Eric as a cheater. The main plot of the film is the arrest of Eric because of his fraud, as well as his release because of another generous intervention by Stella.
criticism
True Nollywood Stories describes the film as average overall, but praises the camera and music. The acting performance is described as largely good, problems are mainly blamed on the script, which is not very innovative.
