Affirmative Repositioning (in German about Positive Reorientation ; based on Affirmative Action ), mostly just AR , is a radical organization in Namibia .

AR was founded in 2014 by Job Amupanda , Dimbulukeni Nauyoma and George Kambala . All three previously held high-ranking positions in the youth league of the governing SWAPO party .

The aim of AR is the socio-economic realignment of the country for the benefit of the masses. The AR takes a strictly anti-colonial position and has made land reform its main theme. If necessary, this should also be carried out with force. In July 2015, a concept paper on mass housing construction and land distribution was presented. Since 2018 in particular, the AR has also been devoted to other topics, including tenant protection .

In July 2020, AR announced that it would participate in the local elections in November 2020 .
