Agapo Luis Palomeque

Agapo Luis Palomeque (* in Canelones ) is a Uruguayan politician .

He has worked as a teacher of philosophy in secondary schools and as a lecturer in educational science in teacher training. In this context, he also headed the Canelones Institute for Teacher Training. He also held the position of director of the Instituto de Profesores "Artigas" . As part of his political career, Palomeque, who belongs to the Partido Nacional , sat in the 43rd and 44th legislative periods as a member of the Department of Canelones from February 15, 1990 to February 14, 2000 in the Cámara de Representantes . In 1992 he held the office of Fourth Vice-President. Palomeque is also the author of numerous publications on the subject of national education.
