The Agat Point (English for agate tip , Polish Przylądek Agat ) is a headland on the west bank of Admiralty Bay of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located immediately north of Staszek Cove .
Polish scientists named it in 1980 after the agate deposit discovered here .
