Agathocles (architect)
Agathokles ( Greek Ἀγαθοκλῆς ) was a Greek architect who worked in the middle of the 3rd century BC. Was active in Delphi . Like his father Agasikrates and his grandfather Agathon , he was an official temple architect in Delphi. It is mentioned in an inscription from the year 260/259 BC. BC (or a little earlier) mentioned. Afterwards, he was responsible for maintenance work on the Temple of Apollo VI, which had been rebuilt by his grandfather, as the successor to his late father and his grandfather.
