Agence d'Information du Burkina

The Agence d'Information du Burkina (AIB) is the state news agency of the West African state of Burkina Faso .

The AIB was founded on May 27, 1964 as Agence Voltaïque de Presse (AVP) and renamed to AIB when Obervoltas changed its name in 1984. Since 1999, the AIB has been a public corporation (établissement public de l'Etat, EPE) to which the daily newspaper Sidwaya and the Sidwaya printer belong.
