Agesipolis (son of Cleombrotus II)
Agesipolis (Greek Ἀγησίπολις) was the eldest son of the Spartan king Cleombrotus II and the Chilonis , the daughter of king Leonidas II. He came from the house of the Agiads . His son Agesipolis was the last king from this royal house. Since he was still a child when he took office, Agesipolis' brother Cleomenes became his guardian.
