Agrostroj Pelhřimov is the largest Czech manufacturer of agricultural machinery . However, the company is primarily active as a supplier for other commercial vehicle and agricultural machinery manufacturers.
history
Today's company goes back to a workshop founded in 1896, which later began producing simple agricultural machines. In 1948 the company was nationalized and renamed "Agrostroj". In the 1980s, Agrostroij became part of the Agrozet combine and had 3,000 employees. In 1997 the company was taken over by Lubomír Stoklásek , who laid off 90% of the employees and introduced "German" order and cleanliness "( Czech " německý "pořádek a čistotu ).
In 2005 the new assembly hall was built and in 2006 a KTL and powder coating system from the Eisenmann company went into operation, which was then the largest in Europe.
