Agustín Ojeda

Agustín Ojeda ( September 9, 1898 - November 16, 1938 ) was a Mexican football player on the position of defender .

Life

In 1923 Ojeda was part of the squad of Club América , who played the Mexican national team on his trip to Guatemala in January 1923 , when three test matches were played against the southern neighbor. In the second game on January 4, 1923, which Mexico lost 3-1, Ojeda was left-back on the field. When the Guatemalan national team paid a return visit to Meiko in December 1923 and played three more games against "El Tri" in Parque España , Ojeda played again in the second game of this series, which Mexico won 2-0 on December 12, 1923.

Ojeda played until the 1926/27 season at Club América and was thus part of the Americanistas' championship team for three consecutive seasons 1924/25, 1925/26 and 1926/27 .

Before the 1927/28 season, Ojeda moved to CD Marte and took part in the 1928 Summer Olympics soccer tournament, where he played both Mexican games against Spain (1: 7) and Chile (1: 3). In the following season 1928/29 he won the Mexican soccer championship again with the Marcianos .
