The Ahern Glacier is a small glacier that flows from the Churchill Mountains in an easterly direction between Mount Lindley and Mount Hoskins to the Starshot Glacier .
It was named by participants in the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1964-1965), which examined the Holyoake Range , Cobham Range and the Queen Elizabeth Range in the Transantarctic Mountains . Name giver is Brian Richard Ahern, New Zealand carpenter at Scott Base and expedition member.
