Ahmed bin Raschid Al Maktum

Sheikh Ahmed bin Raschid Al Maktum ( Arabic أحمد بن راشد آل مكتوم, DMG Aḥmad b. Rāšid Āl Maktūm ; * 1950 in Bur Dubai , Dubai ) is the fourth and youngest son of Raschid bin Said Al Maktum (1912–1990).

Ahmed bin Raschid Al Maktum is Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Police & Public Security with the rank of major general . He is also the acting president of the Al-Wasl football club based in Dubai.

Sheikh Ahmed's family has been involved in thoroughbred breeding and horse racing since the 1980s . In 1999, his horse Ramp and Rave won the Dubai Golden Shaheen , a $ 2 million Group I horse race in Dubai. Ameerat won the 1,000 guineas in 2001 .

Mtoto won the Eclipse Stakes and Prince of Wales's Stakes in 1987 and 1988,and the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes in 1988. His horse Mashaallah won the Baden Grand Prix in 1992.
