Ahmia is an open source search engine for onion services in the Tor network and searches in the I2P network. Ahmia was created in 2014 during the Google Summer of Code with support from the Tor project by Juha Nurmi. The site filters child pornography and abuse material. Operators of .onion sites can register with Ahmia.
The Ahmia search system is the GlobaLeaks connected project to suggestions and feedback to be treated anonymously, and continue with Tor2Web to access outside the Tor network to Ahmia. Ahmia has been affiliated to the Hermes Center for Transparency and Digital Human Rights since September 2013 .
