Aigilips
Aigilips ( ancient Greek Ἀιγίλιψ ) is a place from Greek mythology .
In the ship catalog in Homer's Iliad , it is mentioned as one of the places subject to Odysseus . After an attempt at localization by the ancient geographer Strabo , Aigilips was located on the Ionian island of Leukas , together with the places Neritos and Krokyleia also mentioned in the ship catalog , while the grammarian Stephanos of Byzantium located all three places on the Ionian island of Ithaca .
