Aigle (daughter of Panopeus)
Aigle ( Greek Αἴγλη ) is in Greek mythology the daughter of Panopeus , the eponymous hero of the city of the same name in Phocis .
After a fragment of Hesiod in Plutarch's work , Theseus fell in love with Aigle and for this reason left Ariadne , which Plutarch found not very honorable and decent. Because in doing so he broke the oath he had sworn to Ariadne.
