The Aigner-Schanzen , today officially Energie AG-Skisprung Arena , are located in Hinzenbach am Hausruck in Upper Austria and consist of several ski jumps . The facility includes three smaller jumps of categories K 10, K 20 and K 40 , and one normal hill of category K 85. The jumps are covered with plastic mattings.

history

The first ski jump was built in Hinzenbach near Eferding in 1933 , and straw was jumped in the summer . The ski jump was moved to the Aigner sawmill at the end of the 1930s. One of the first jumps took place in the late 1940s, again jumping on straw. The hill was dismantled in 1953 and rebuilt as a training hill at another location. In 1958 the K 40 hill was built instead of the old ski jump. Today's plastic covered jump was built in 1980. The second renovation took place in 1996, when a K 20 hill was built for the younger generation. The International Children's Four Hills Tournament has been taking place here since 1999 .

In 2006 the construction of a K 90 normal hill began, which was interrupted by storms in September 2008. The small plastic covered hills were also damaged. The construction costs amounted to 5.2 million euros after storm damage.

On October 9th and 10th 2010 the inauguration of the new K 90 hill (K point: 85 meters) with the Austrian championships in ski jumping and Nordic combined took place.

On October 1, 2011, the tenth and penultimate competition of the Summer Grand Prix 2011 took place here. In February 2012, two competitions of the first women's World Cup season took place. On September 27, 2015, Aigner-Schanze hosted a Summer Grand Prix final for the first time .
