history
On October 9th and 10th 2010 the Aigner-Schanze was inaugurated and in this context there were talks between the FIS and the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) about organizing a women's world cup. On February 4th and 5th 2012 there was the first women's world cup in Austria. On the first day of the competition, the second round had to be canceled shortly before the end due to adverse weather conditions. In 2013 no World Cup was held due to scheduling reasons. On February 7, 2016, the Japanese Sara Takanashi jumped a new hill record with 98 meters in the first round.
