Aika Mitsui
Aika Mitsui ( Japanese 光 井 愛 佳 , Mitsui Aika ; born January 12, 1993 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) was a member of the J-Pop girl group Morning Musume .
Born in Hyōgo prefecture, she grew up in Ōtsu in Shiga prefecture .
Her casting was broadcast on the television program Hello! Morning in late 2006 . She sang Ayumi Hamasaki's Blue Bird in the first round, Morning Musumes Furusato in the 2nd round and Morning Musumes Osaka Koi no Uta in the 3rd round and was the only candidate to win the audition. With Egao Yes Nude was their official debut with Morning Musume. After sustaining an ankle injury in May 2011, she left the group a year later, at the same time as Risa Niigaki , so as not to risk another injury. However, she remains a member of Hello! Project . At the end of 2013, she announced on her blog that she was going abroad to learn English. How long she will be away is not yet certain.
