Ainsley Amohaere Gardiner MNZM (* before 1974 in Wellington ) is a New Zealand film producer .

Career

Gardiner was born in New Zealand to Pauline and Wira Gardiner and grew up in Wadestown , Wellington , before moving to Whakatāne with her parents when she was 12 . Her career in the film business began in 1998 as a producer on the short film The Hole . For her participation in the short film Two Cars, One Night , she and Taika Waititi received an Oscar nomination in the " Best Short Film " category at the 2005 Academy Awards . Two more projects followed with Taika Waititi, which were published under the titles Eagle vs Shark - Love in New Zealand in 2007 and Boy in 2010.
