The Aishihik Lake is a lake in Canada's Yukon Territory .
The lake is 60 km north-northeast of Haines Junction . It has a NW-SE extension of 55 km. Its maximum width is 6 km. The water area of Aishihik Lake is 146 km². The lake is at an altitude of 914 m . The maximum water depth is around 120 m. At the southern end of the lake, the Aishihik River leaves the lake and flows to the neighboring Canyon Lake . The lake is ice-covered between October and June. Since 1970, the flow of Aishihik Lake has been regulated by a dam. Downstream there is a 37 MW hydroelectric power station . At the northern end of the lake there used to be a military airfield, which was closed in 1968. Aishihik Lake can be reached via the Aishihik Road , which branches off the Alaska Highway to the north.
An important tributary of Aishihik Lake is the Tahgah River , which drains Lake Sekulmun Lake to the west and flows into Aishihik Lake in the far northwest.
