Aiura ( Japanese あ い う ら ) is a Yonkoma manga series from Mangaka Chama ( 茶 麻 ), which was also adapted as an anime television series.

action

It is about the everyday life of the three motivated school girls Kanaka Amaya ( 天 谷 奏 香 ), Saki Iwasawa ( 岩 沢 彩 生 ) and Ayuko Uehara ( 上原 歩 子 ). Your life shows what happens when nothing happens.

publication

The first chapter of the Yonkoma manga (comic strips) by Chama was published on March 2, 2011 on Nico Nico Douga's sister portal for still images such as web manga Nico Nico Seiga ( ニ コ ニ コ 静 画 ). The publishing house Kadokawa Shoten then offered Chama to publish the manga professionally in the manga magazine 4-Koma Nano Ace ( 4 コ マ な の エ ー ス ). The first print chapter appeared in issue 4 of August 9, 2011. However, web chapters continue to appear. After 4-Koma Nano Ace was discontinued in issue 10 on September 9, 2013, the series switched to Shōnen Ace magazine, which printed the next chapter in issue 11 on October 26, 2013.

The chapters have been summarized in five anthologies ( Tankōbon ) so far (as of April 2014) .

By March 2013, the web manga had been played around 4.7 million times and the anthologies had sold more than 100,000 copies.

Nico Nico Seiga announced that the manga should end on April 23, 2014.

Anime

Lidenfilms adapted the manga series as an anime television series, the first in-house production of the animation studio, which was only founded in 2012. Directed by Ryosuke Nakamura, who also wrote the script. The 12 episodes were broadcast from April 10 to June 26, 2013 after midnight (and thus on the previous television day ) roughly simultaneously in the television series on TV Tokyo and on the web on the Nico Nico Channel, followed by AT-X with a one-week offset . In the opening credits the song Kani Do-Luck! ( カ ニ ☆ Do-Luck !? ) and in the credits Ichigo Ichie ( い ち ご い ち え? ), Both from the group Aiu Rabu , which consists of the voice actors of the three main characters: Yui Nakajima (Kanaka Amaya), Yuko Iida (Saki Iwasawa ) and Nao Tamura (Ayuko Uehara). The series was released on August 7, 2013 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
