Akesamenos
Akesamenos ( ancient Greek Ἀκεσαμενός ) or Akessamenos ( Ἀκεσσαμενός ) is a person of Greek mythology .
In Homer , Akessamenos appears as the father of Periboia , who, along with the river god Axios, is mother of Pelagon and thus grandmother of the Troy fighter Asteropaios . According to Stephanos of Byzantium , Akesamenos is the king of Pieria and the eponymous founder of the Macedonian city of Akesamenai .
