Asteropaios (son of Pelegon)
Asteropaios ( Greek Ἀστεροπαῖος ), son of Pelegon and grandson of Axios , is a figure in Greek mythology .
During the siege of Troy he fought as the leader of the Paionier on the side of the defenders. When he was in the waters of the Scamander on Achilles met, stood in his river god at. However, this finally had to back down from Hephaestus , and Asteropaios was killed by Achilles.
