Akifumi Shimoda
Akifumi Shimoda ( Jap. 下田昭文 , Shimoda Akifumi * 11. September 1984 in Sapporo , Japan ) is a Japanese boxer in the super bantamweight .

On January 18, 2003, he successfully made his professional debut. On January 31, 2011, he became World Champion of the WBA when he defeated Ryol Li Lee by unanimous decision. However, he lost this belt in his first title defense in July of the same year to Rico Ramos through a classic knockout in round seven.
