Rico Ramos
Rico Dashon Ramos (born June 20, 1987 in California ) is a retired American super bantamweight boxer of Puerto Rican descent . He was promoted by Goossen Tutor .
Career
On March 20, 2008, he successfully made his professional debut. On July 9, he became World Champion of the WBA when he defeated Akifumi Shimoda with a classic knockout in round 7. He lost this title in his first title defense in January of the following year to Guillermo Rigondeaux by knockout.
