Além da Ribeira is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Tomar . The community had 764 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the communities of Além da Ribeira and Pedreira were merged to form the new community of União das Freguesias de Além da Ribeira e Pedreira . Além da Ribeira is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
