al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Inal
Al-Ashraf Sayf ad-Din Inal ( Arabic الأشرف سيف الدين إينال العلائي, DMG al-Asraf Saif ad-Dīn Īnāl al-ʿAlāʾī ) was Sultan of the Mamluks (1453–1461).
Inal came to power after the fall of al-Mansur Uthman , son of Jaqmaq (1438-1453). In contrast to the latter, he was completely uneducated and was under the influence of the Mamlukenemirs , who were able to exploit the population again. This led to a further impoverishment of the Egyptian population, despite the external splendor of the Mamluks. After al-Mu'ayyad Ahmad (1461) Chushqadam (1461-1467) came to power as sultan.
