al-Mu'ayyad Ahmad III.
Al-Mu'ayyad Ahmad III. ( Arabic المؤيد شهاب الدين أحمد, DMG al-Muʾaiyad Šihāb ad-Dīn Aḥmad ) was Sultan of the Mamluks in Egypt in 1461.
Inal's son al-Mu'ayyad Ahmad, who came to power in 1461, was just as unsuitable for this office as his father. He was soon replaced by his regent, the Greek Chushqadam , imprisoned and only released again by Sultan Timurbugha .
