al-Quds al-arabi

al-Quds al-arabi ( Arabic القدس العربي, DMG al-Qudsu l-ʿarabī  'the Arab Jerusalem ') is a Palestinian daily newspaper published in London .

Its editor-in-chief is Abdelbari Atwan . The paper emphasizes its independence from the PLO leadership and is one of the most important Arabic-language newspapers that are not in Saudi ownership.

al-Quds has a circulation of 50,000 copies. The newspaper achieved worldwide fame because it received and published open letters from Saddam Hussein or letters confessing to Islamist terrorists , most recently after the attack in Madrid .
