Alaba Jonathan (born June 1, 1992 in Calabar , Nigeria ) is a Nigerian soccer player .
Career
society
Alaba began her career in the youth of the Navy Angels. After failing to make the senior team with the Navy Angels, she joined the Pelican Stars in spring 2010. The Calabar-born goalkeeper is still under contract there today.
National team
Alaba is the current senior national player in Nigeria and has played for the team at least once. Alaba represented her home country as the third goalkeeper at the 2011 Women's World Cup at the tournament in Germany . Before that, in 2010 she took part in the U-20 World Cup for Nigeria's U-20s .
