Pelican Stars Football Club of Calabar is a national Nigerian women's football club from the Nigeria Women's Premier League .
history
The Pelican Stars are a national football club of the Cross River State that was founded in 1988. With seven titles, the team is the record champions of the now defunct Women Professional Football League. In addition, the club won the national cup six times. Since 2013 the club has been playing in the newly founded semi-professional Nigeria Women's Premier League .
Stadion
The club plays its home games at the UJ Esuene Stadium , which has a capacity of 12,000 people.
