Club Deportivo Alacranes Rojos de Apatzingán ( Spanish for sports club Red Scorpions of Apatzingán ) is a former football club from the city ​​of Apatzingán in the Mexican state of Michoacán .

The Alacranes Rojos initially played in the fourth-class Tercera División . After winning this league in the 2002 summer tournament (second half of the 2001/02 season), the team rose to the third-rate Segunda División , in which the "Alacranes" were represented in the following four seasons between 2002/03 and 2005/06 before they retired from professional football in the summer of 2006 .

The club recorded its greatest sporting success in the Apertura 2004 (first half of the 2004/05 season) with reaching the quarter-finals of the Segunda División. There the "Alacranes" failed 1: 1 and 1: 4 against the eventual master Académicos .
