Alagou tombs
The Alagou tombs ( Chinese 阿拉 沟 古墓 群 , Pinyin Ālāgōu gǔmùqún , 阿拉 沟 古墓 , Ālāgōu gǔmù , 阿拉 沟 墓葬 群 , Ālāgōu mùzàngqún or 阿拉 沟 古 墓葬 墓葬 , lāgōu gǔmù , 阿拉 沟 墓葬 群 , Ālāgōu mùzàngqún or 阿拉 沟 古 墓葬der , Frühll fields ) are from the time of the spring two - and autumn annals and the Warring States Period in the administrative area of the city of Turpan in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . The graves discovered in the 1970s contained abundant grave goods, the woolen textiles of which are of particular interest.
They are located in the Tian Shan Mountains near the Alagou Reservoir ( 阿拉 沟 水库 , Alagou shuiku ) in the valley of the Alagou He River in Toksun County between Gaochang and Ürümqi .
