Alan Clarke (Director)
Alan Clarke (born October 28, 1935 in Birkenhead , † July 24, 1990 in London ) was a British director , producer and writer. His focus was on a realistic representation of social problems.
His short film Elephant (1989) dealt with the clashes in Northern Ireland and unrelated, motivated shootings.
